The day the UN has set aside for the World to Reflect,Take Action and Celebrate the Mother Earth (Environment). This year’s Theme is
“BEAT AIR POLLUTION ”
Air Pollution has become a global emergency affecting almost everyone – ranging from carbon monoxide exhausted from cars, gas flaring, different gas pollution processes used in both industrial productions and domestic settings – burning of waste and firewood, etc.
As we mark the World Environmental Day today, lets take action to improve on our air quality. Think of how you can reduce YOUR carbon footprint, think of the next generation – do something today. It’s easy, it’s simple..
Support the use of Fuel efficiency stoves, renewable energy kits such as solar lamps, solar generators, solar cookers, help enforce gas flaring laws, support waste recycling processes, get involved in tree planting initiatives, etc.
We challenge you to do just one thing to reduce air pollution TODAY!
